The Air Jordan 1 Mid ¡°Banned 2020¡± is a colorway of Michael Jordan¡¯s first signature shoe that draws comparisons to the design of the Nike Air Ship that Jordan was prohibited from wearing in the NBA in 1985. Appearing on the alternate mid-top height of the Jordan 1, the ¡°Banned¡± matches the black and red colour block of the Air Ship he played in and the original Jordan 1 ¡°Bred¡± colorway. The design features red leather on the perforated toe, eyelets, collar, and heel. Contrasting black leather detailing can be found on the forefoot, mid-panel, and collar. Fiery red leather Swoosh branding appears on either side and a black ¡°Wings¡± logo dots the collar overlay. A black nylon tongue with red accenting on the Jumpman logo on the tag combines with the tonal laces to bring the retro aesthetic together. Release date: November 12, 2020.
